Luxury 4D Baby Scan

The Luxury 4D Baby Scan is our premium HD Live bonding scan: same world-class technology as the standard 4D, but with extended scan time, a full keepsake suite and the unhurried atmosphere parents tend to want for what's often a once-in-a-pregnancy moment. It's the package most families pick when they're after the full experience rather than just the result, and when they want take-home memories to last well beyond a couple of A5 prints.

During the scan our experienced and registered sonographer will:

• Bring up detailed facial features and expressions in real-time HD Live 4D
• Capture baby's natural movements: yawning, stretching, hands to face, sometimes a smile
• Confirm position (presentation) and any movement patterns
• Check placenta location where visible
• Listen for an audible heartbeat

The whole party watches on our two 46-inch LED TVs and projector wall from comfortable sofa seating, there's room for Mum plus up to 9 guests. The premium package's print collection runs to 1 A3, 1 A4, 2 A5 and 4 A6 prints, plus every image emailed afterwards, plus a Heartbeat Bear with your baby's actual heartbeat recorded inside. The standard 4D Baby Scan at £78 covers the bonding experience itself; the Luxury 4D Baby Scan at £125 layers a generous keepsake suite on top.

Specifically, what the Luxury 4D Baby Scan adds:

• Extended HD Live scan time: more minutes to watch baby move, with the room not on the clock if baby needs a position change.
• The full print suite: 1 A3 keepsake print, 1 A4, 2 A5 and 4 A6 prints (vs 2 A5 + 4 A6 prints on the standard scan). Enough for framing, posting to grandparents, sliding into the memory book.
• Heartbeat Bear keepsake: a soft toy with baby's actual heartbeat recorded inside. Press the paw, hear the first sound. The keepsake most parents say they end up keeping forever.

If you want the absolute sharpest finish on a particular still frame, our optional 8K AI-enhanced image upgrade (£25 per image, £35 for two) post-processes any 4D shot we capture into a near-photographic keepsake, usually ordered on the day of the scan. For the everyday version of the same scan in a tighter time window without the keepsakes, the 4D Baby Scan at £78 is the alternative.

Worth saying that the NHS doesn't offer 4D ultrasound at all; NHS scans are 2D and clinical by design, focused on screening rather than bonding.
