Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scan – 10 to 14 Weeks
Our Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scan is designed for parents who would like additional reassurance and an opportunity to see their baby's continued growth and development before their routine NHS dating scan. At this stage, your baby is more developed, making it possible to assess growth, observe movement, and provide reassurance regarding ongoing wellbeing.
Our experienced sonographers confirm the fetal heartbeat, assess fetal movement, take growth measurements appropriate for gestation, confirm the number of babies, and carry out a general wellbeing assessment.
Appointments are available without a GP referral and can often be booked on the same day or next day. The scan costs £75 and includes a sonographer report, printed and/or digital images, the opportunity to discuss your findings, and a free rescan where clinically needed.
Please note: if, on scanning, your pregnancy is found to be under 10 weeks, the full £89 Early Pregnancy Viability Scan fee applies. If you are experiencing pain, vaginal bleeding, dizziness, shoulder tip pain, fainting, or any other concerning symptoms, you should seek medical advice from your GP, midwife, NHS 111, local Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU), or emergency services as appropriate.

Our Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scan is designed for parents who would like additional reassurance and an opportunity to see their baby's continued growth and development before their routine NHS dating scan. At this stage, your baby is more developed, making it possible to assess growth, observe movement, and provide reassurance regarding ongoing wellbeing.
This scan is most suitable from 10 to 14 weeks of pregnancy. The scan is gentle and transabdominal (over the tummy), and sits within a calm, deliberately non-clinical scan room with up to 9 guests welcome to share the moment.

Agree with the other reviews that Numi Scan provide a wonderful experience. The staff are all lovely and make you feel at ease from start to finish. I had a gender blood test and scan done and did not feel that the process was rushed in any way, I got to see my baby projected onto the wall in front of me which is not something I had experienced anywhere else where it’s normally a much smaller screen. I got to take 4 photos away with me but got sent all of them electronically to keep. My gender blood test was on Saturday and I’ve already received my results the following Tuesday afternoon! Amazing service all round, would 100% recommend
