Our early pregnancy scans cost £68 (Early Reassurance, 12 to 14 weeks), £78 (Early Dating, 9 to 11 weeks) and £88 (Early Viability, 6 to 8 weeks). Each includes a sonographer report, 4 free A6 keepsake prints and a private digital gallery by email.
In some very early pregnancies, ultrasound findings may be inconclusive due to gestational age or the timing of implantation. Where further assessment is clinically required, our sonographer may recommend a follow-up scan. Any follow-up appointment is offered solely at the discretion of the sonographer based on clinical findings and is not routinely included as part of the package.
Usually not. Our early scans are normally transabdominal (over the tummy). In some circumstances a transvaginal scan may be recommended for the clearest view, at no extra cost.
Drink 500-750ml of water roughly 30-45 minutes before your appointment, and don't empty your bladder before the scan; comfortably full, not painful. Wear loose, accessible clothing.
