Watch Me Grow is the package the regular Numi Scan families settle on once they've thought it through. It pulls together the private scans most parents in Heaton, Jesmond and Gosforth itself end up booking anyway: that first heartbeat at 6 weeks, gender confirmation in the second trimester, a 4D bonding slot once baby is photogenic, and a well-being check thrown in free, all at a softer price.
A £50 deposit holds the package and the balance is due at your first appointment. Booked separately at our standard scan packages and pricing the same four scans come to £300, so at £199 you are £101 lighter, just over a third off. Same room, same experienced sonographer, same GE Voluson; just spread across the months. Because it opens with the viability scan, the package is bought between 6 and 9 weeks.

The package price is fixed, so it does not fluctuate with seasonal offers. All four scans are used within 9 months of purchase and during the same pregnancy, booked as you reach each window.

- All scans must be used within 9 months from the date of purchase and during the same pregnancy.
- The package is personal to the client and is non-transferable.
- Scans or benefits cannot be transferred to another person or another pregnancy.
- The package and any unused scans cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another package or programme, or used as credit towards another service, except where required by law.
- The free Well-Being Scan included in this package cannot be combined with our Buy 3 Scans, Get 1 Free offer. Only one free scan applies per pregnancy.
- All appointments are subject to our standard Terms and Conditions, and to our booking, cancellation, rescheduling and clinic policies.

You pay £199 for four appointments at our Gosforth clinic instead of the £300 they'd cost booked separately: the early pregnancy viability scan from 6 weeks, the gender scan from 15 weeks, the 4D Baby Scan from 24 weeks, and a free well-being scan from 15 weeks. A £50 deposit holds it, the balance is due at your first appointment, and you schedule each scan as your pregnancy progresses so you're not locked into fixed dates months ahead.
Because the package opens with the early pregnancy viability scan, and that scan is done from 6 weeks up to 9 weeks. Buy later than that and the first of your four scans would simply go unused, which isn't value however you dress it up. No. The free well-being scan is already built into this package, so it can't be combined with Buy 3 Scans, Get 1 Free. One free scan per pregnancy.
3D is a still image stitched from many 2D slices; it looks like a photograph of your baby's face. 4D adds time, so the image moves in real time on the screen during the scan. The 4D Baby Scan in this package uses HD Live rendering on the GE Voluson, which adds soft directional lighting so the cheeks and chin look more natural.
Babies wriggle, sleep, hide their faces. It happens, particularly during the 4D slot. If your sonographer can't get a clean view of the face, you're invited back for a one-time complimentary re-scan within two weeks (Monday to Friday, subject to availability). It's a quiet annoyance, not a disaster.
Our sonographers are experienced and registered, with ALARA practice as standard. Numi Scan Gosforth is also CQC-regulated, see the CQC regulation page for the registration details.
No, and we'd be uncomfortable if anyone implied otherwise. Private scans include a pregnancy wellbeing assessment, but they do not replace NHS antenatal care, screening or diagnostic services, so keep going to every NHS appointment. If anything significant comes up during your private scan, we'll explain it clearly and write to your midwife or GP so the NHS pathway can pick it up.
Up to 9 guests per scan; the Gosforth room is the bigger of our two clinics, and we run two 46-inch LED TVs plus a projector wall so everyone has a clear sight line. Most families bring different combinations to each scan: partner for the early one, parents next time, the older sibling for the final visit.
